SILVER STAR

The Silver Star is a 1522-mile passenger train route operated by Amtrak from New York City south to Miami, Florida. It continues south through Richmond VA, Raleigh NC, Columbia SC, Savannah GA, and Jacksonville, Orlando, and Tampa FL. The Silver Star shares much of its track with the Silver Meteor, but the Star takes a more inland route through North Carolina and makes a diversion to Florida’s West Coast for a stop in Tampa.
